About the Team
Ninjacart’s eCommerce vertical works with quick commerce players and modern trade partners to help them with their fresh supply (fruits and vegetables) requirements. Given the rapid growth of quick commerce in India, this business team is helping drive Ninjacart’s growth across Metros and is scaling up rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Setup collection centres for fresh vegetables/ fruits based on market inputs.
- Appoint vendors / partners at collection centres and onboard farmers for supply.
- Setup vendor base at fulfilment centre for non-local SKUs
- Own up procurement margins, optimize via vendors and CC procurement to achieve the target margins.

- 5 + years’ experience in Heading a relevant department – Procurement or Sales in FnV
- Academics from Tier 3 -> Engineering & B Schools is preferred (good to have)
- Strong pitching, negotiation, vendor/farmer management & solutioning skills.
- Strong understanding of the F&V category.
- Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, people development & team management skills.
