Key responsibilities:
Develop brand strategy and define the company's annual marketing roadmap both online and
offline. Drive Share of voice with an aspiration to be a category leader.
Serve the role of brand custodian for all communications from tactical, internal, external to
social media by creating brand marketing playbook & guidelines.
Brief external and in house creative teams on content requirements and ensure brand
guidelines are adhered to.
Devise brand identity, positioning, architecture & ensure our brand message is strong and
consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages
and promotional material)
Define core TG, value proposition & elasticity’s around core benefits & create short, long term
brand strategy.
Create cadence for consumer research, competition research and brand tracking on core brand
attributes & full funnel criteria.
Liaise with design and media agencies to share brief on the campaign; review execution to
ensure adherence to SLAs and monitor quality of execution
Manage and control the brand portfolio budget.
Create monthly, quarterly and annual plans ensuring budget vs. actual compliance on spend
inputs, leads & outcome metrics.
Develop & execute customized plans for both top line and bottom-line growth of company.
Develop and manage a fit-for-course agency network, in house team to ensure effective and
efficient execution of brand strategy across mediums eg. Digital, Radio, TV, OOH etc.
Plan and execute branding initiatives, ATL and BTL activities for the brands.
Set, monitor and report on team goals
Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
What are we looking for?
Should have a degree in marketing, business administration.
MBA with at least 6 years of work experience (ideally in planned / high involvement categories)
Ability to understand consumer journey’s & intervene to drive brand salience.
Ability to balance creativity and analytics.
Strong understanding of current e-commerce trends and best practices.
Team player; ability to partner and negotiate with cross-functional team to successfully deliver
client needs
Prior experience leading a team is a must, as is the ability to motivate and rally a team around a
common vision
Promotes a culture of teamwork across organizational boundaries
Experience building communications strategies to deliver business KPIs highly desirable
