Position

This role functions as the 2 nd leading HR role for the South Asia Region (including but not limited to Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand). Partner with the South Asia Region leadership team on business strategies to deliver growth/business results.

Job responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include the management and oversight of Human Resources policies and procedures supported for the South Asia region, HK, Macau, Taiwan and Singapore & Thailand, eventually might expand to other countries in Asia
Act as strategic business partner in the organization
Communicates regularly with upper level management on all applicable HR and staffing matters.
Planning, supervising and coordinating the activities related to employment, labor relations, compensation, and employee relations.
Manages payroll processing, insurance benefits scheme & salary survey
Oversees compliance with the employment law of the corresponding markets.
Oversees and handle employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Assist HRD in budget exercises, succession planning, career review, and individual development plan, staff engagement program, DE&I initiatives and school projects
Oversee benefits inquiries, payroll inquiries, exit interviews, and termination processes.

Profile

Degree holder in Human Resources or related disciplines
At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for exposure to the luxury retail industry.
Management or supervisory experience preferred.
Able to work both independently and as a good team player. Proactive, strong customer-oriented mindset, able to work under pressure.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
