Applications are invited for the following position:

Senior Officer (Human Resources) (Ref. No.: PMSA-SOHR-17/24)

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Administration and Resources Management), the appointee will:

Handle full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) functions including staff recruitment and orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management and staff relations, etc.;

Assist in reviewing the implementation of the Staff Handbook, HR guidelines and operations manual regularly to ensure that HR policies and procedures comply with the relevant ordinances;

Plan and coordinate staff training and development programmes;

Assist in budget and manpower planning, and preparation of HR-related statistical and analytical reports;

Liaise with insurance brokers/ insurance companies for the acquisition and renewal of HR-related insurances;

Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive HR management system to meet the operational needs;

Liaise with internal departments and external parties on HR-related issues, as well as give advice and answer enquiries on HR matters; and

Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements
Candidates should have:

A bachelor degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent, preferably in HR Management, Business Administration or a related discipline;

At least 3 years of full-time work experience in HR management. Relevant work experience in Government departments or public bodies is an advantage;

Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations and other HR related regulations;

Strong sense of responsibility, good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;

Ability to work independently and under pressure; and

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Terms of Appointment
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A 3-year contract will be offered to the successful candidate of the post. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
