Main Purpose
This role will ensure that LUSH continues to build and sustain a culture of focusing on continuous improvement of People development and support practices, programs and policies that align with employment law, best practice and company values.
In this role you will advise and support in all areas of People (Human Resources), including but not limited recruitment, payroll, employment law, award coverage, feedback handling and assisting with difficult conversations.
Role Expectations
Operations:
Handle a full spectrum of People Operations functions for HK & Macau regions
Manage the recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, CV screening, interview arrangement, and other communication between the company and the candidates, etc.
Responsible for staff onboarding and offboarding process
Manage and oversee monthly payroll calculation, taxation, MPF and leave administration
Maintain HR system operation, and ensure all records (i.e.: attendance / leave records) are up-to-date and accurate so as to meet the operational needs
Administer employee benefits related to medical scheme, EAP and other staff welfare and company activities
Support staff with initial people-related conversation and redirect staff to appropriate handling
Build and promote a positive working environment for all employees, which contributed to staff engagement and retention
Support ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
HR Administration
Conduct data analysis and market research
Prepare, consolidate and update various HR-related reports
Support the implementation of all People (HR) related policies and procedures to ensure the efficiency of the Greater China Market’s operations
Review and ensure policies and procedures are in alignment with operation needs and in compliance with labour regulations
Collaborate with the team for monthly/yearly staff activities for training program and support other staff well-being activities
Staff travel arrangements and job visa application
Skills
Degree holder with major in HR Management / Business Studies or a related discipline
At least 3 years hands-on experience in all-rounded HR functions would be preferred or strong knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices
Well-versed with HK Employment Ordinance and knowledge of Macau Employment Ordinance is an advantage
Good command in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin) and English
Strong sense of responsibility, well organized, detail-minded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, quick to adapt to new situations and direction
