Essential Functions:
· Lead and manage the complete recruitment process for both commercial and non-commercial roles in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
· Oversee both internal and external recruitment efforts in the APAC region, with a focus on global recruitment of commercial staff (chartering and operations).
· Identify and implement effective recruitment strategies to reach out to most qualified candidates.
· Collaborate and develop excellent working relationship with hiring managers and colleagues across the region.
· Maintain and build our network of recruitment partners. Attend networking events to promote the company and find suitable partners.
· Plan and organize all campus and virtual career fairs inclusive of preparation of career fair marketing materials and ensure good employer branding is always in place.
· Prepare, plan, and oversee the internships and trainee programs in APAC.
· Maintain a strong relationship with government bodies (e.g. MPA) and oversee sponsorship and scholarship programs.
· Maintain and ensure that all recruitment records and employee movement reports are up to date.
· Maintain a strong people-oriented attitude and constantly prioritize employee care.
· Drive new employee engagement ideas.
· Handle and coordinate ad-hoc HR projects.
· Support the HR team for any ad-hoc requests as and when required.
Requirements:
· Minimum 8 years of experience, including 2 years in recruitment within the APAC region.
· Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
· In-depth knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and labor laws, with experience working with the Ministry of Manpower.
· Extensive background in recruitment and talent management, along with a solid understanding of general HR practices.
· International experience is essential.
· Familiarity with recruiting commercial employees (bankers, traders, etc.) is highly desirable.
· Proven ability to build relationships with external recruiters and engage potential candidates independently through various sourcing channels, including social media.
· Experience in developing in-house training programs, assessment centers, and re-skilling/up-skilling initiatives.
· Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 particularly applications like Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
· Experience in using the HR Workday system is a plus
· Fluency in spoken and written English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
· Strong communication skills and a high level of confidentiality are essential.
· Must be an advocate for our unique company culture.
· Willingness to travel as needed.
