Get to Know the Role
As a dynamic and detail-oriented Employer Branding and Events Senior/Executive (temporary position), you will focus on supporting the design, planning, coordination, and execution of employer branding-related events, with a primary focus on organizing our flagship Global Engineering Competition. The competition will target universities in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, and the US, aimed at attracting and engaging new graduate talent for our engineering roles.
In addition, you will support and manage all SEMICON-related tradeshows we are participating in, specifically focusing on Workforce Development (WFD) activities and ensuring brand consistency across all career fairs, roadshows, and other employer branding initiatives. 
Essential Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning:
- Support designing and planning employer branding events, including the Global Engineering Competition and SEMICON-related tradeshows, focusing on Workforce Development (WFD) activities.
- Assist in shaping event themes, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with the Employer Branding team and key stakeholders.
- Research and identify strategic university partners and student communities across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, the US, and Taiwan.
Event Coordination & Execution:
- Coordinate logistics for various events, including venue bookings, virtual platforms (if hybrid/remote), and participant registrations.
- Manage event timelines to ensure that all aspects of the competition, tradeshows, and career fairs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors for event production, promotional materials, and branded giveaways.
- Support communication efforts, including email campaigns, social media marketing, and internal updates to generate interest in the competition, tradeshows, and other events.
SEMICON and Workforce Development Support:
- Oversee the coordination and management of SEMICON-related tradeshows, specifically focusing on Workforce Development (WFD) activities, ensuring effective engagement with participants and partners.
- Support the development of marketing materials, engagement sessions, and activities at the tradeshows that align with our talent attraction goals.
Stakeholder & Partner Management:
- Work closely with universities, student organizations, and tradeshow organizers to ensure smooth participation and engagement.
- Serve as the point of contact for participants, sponsors, and collaborators, providing necessary information and ensuring seamless communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Talent Acquisition and Engineering to align event objectives with recruitment and employer branding goals.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure that all employer branding activities across career fairs, roadshows, tradeshows, and other events consistently reflect the company’s brand identity and values.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and visuals across all channels and touchpoints.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Assist in developing promotional content, including social media posts, videos, and email newsletters, to enhance event visibility and participation.
- Coordinate outreach efforts through targeted university channels and student forums.
- Support the development of marketing toolkits for all employer branding events, including FAQs, guidelines, and schedules.Post-Event ReportingCollect feedback and data on event success, including participation numbers, engagement metrics, and ROI.
- Assist in creating post-event reports and presentations to showcase outcomes and suggest improvements for future events.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Competencies Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in events management, marketing, or employer branding.
- Prior experience coordinating large-scale events, tradeshows, university programs, or competitions is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with university networks and experience working with SEMICON-related tradeshows or Workforce Development (WFD) activities is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and a strong desire to innovate.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
