About the role
As we continue to grow, Grasshopper seeks a Human Resources Manager who will contribute to all things talent and people-related. Key duties include overseeing talent management and development, conducting talent reviews, managing performance and promotion processes, driving employee engagement, along with onboarding and offboarding. You will be a key point of contact between employees and management, promoting a positive work culture, along with aligning HR strategies with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the senior management team and key stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's business goals.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, including sourcing, interviewing, selection/offer, and orientation
Create and manage compensation strategies based on market research and salary surveys
Manage and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
Organise and maintain a HR database
Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and propose strategies/solutions to improve HR processes and practices
Conduct feedback systems to collate data for improving recruitment and performance management systems
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary action
Plan and organize company events
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
At least 7 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record as a Manager
Thorough knowledge of employment law and regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with project management and HR analytics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders
Experience with HR information systems and technology
A high level of sense of ownership and personal accountability, with the ability to navigate changes
Professional HR Certification (e.g., IHRP-SP, SHRM-CP) is a plus
