That’s why we’re seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner, working with the Chief HR Officer to implement, drive and maintain sustainable P&C programs, practices and initiatives, which further enhance the capability of the organization to deliver the company’s goals and objectives.
The Sr. Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner is primarily responsible for Talent Acquisition from informing strategy to execution including reviewing current state to improvement and reporting and analytics. In addition, the Sr. Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner will provide hands-on generalist support to manage current and prospective employees across the full employment lifecycle including: end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and contract administration; policies and procedures; employee relations advice; remuneration and benefits, learning and development, health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) and performance & talent management.
Prior experience supporting current and prospective employees across a range of areas including recruitment and retention, policies and procedures, job roles and responsibilities, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits and training is a need for this role.
*Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, not including applicable bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment, including job requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies using ATS System, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, and professional networks.
- Build relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
- Execute reference checks for candidate finalists.
- Present offers to candidates selected for roles.
- Drafting employment contracts.
- Ensure all recruitment practices promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by developing networks with professional organizations.
- Optimize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for an efficient and effective hiring process.
- Provide data-driven insights and market intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and improve candidate pipeline management.
- Reduce external recruitment agency costs and contribute to lowering turnover through effective hiring practices.
- Monitor recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and prepare reports for leadership to drive continuous improvement in the hiring process.
- Support hiring managers during interviews.
- Hiring manager and candidate experience.
- Marketing and positioning Cogstate’s employment promise to candidates.
- Support managers in managing employee relations, and resolving issues in compliance with company policies and legislation.
- Assist in the onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Work closely with the P&C team to conduct performance reviews, talent management, and succession planning.
- Act as part of a team of trusted advisors, providing expert guidance on employee relations, labor laws, and compliance with HR policies.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive company culture and adherence to legal requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable state and federal laws and regulations and ensure compliance with each.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Higher credential such as SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience in HR and talent acquisition, with proven success in recruitment and business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of HR concepts, employment lifecycle processes, and talent management strategies.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle complex HR challenges in a fast-paced environment.
