TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY:
Fortune-Johnson General Contractors is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that embraces ambiguity, thinks big, and brings their own uncompromising standards of excellence. This person’s primary role will be to support corporate operations by sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring talent to join our team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design talent acquisition strategies to support company hiring goals and initiatives.
- Full cycle recruitment activities: sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, negotiating salaries, extending offers; supporting multiple departments and business units.
- Utilize best practices to develop job descriptions, designing recruitment strategy plans, and interview guides to be used within the organization.
- Enhance the candidate experience by elevating the candidate journey through efficient and engaging processes.
- Manage, develop, and design Summer Internship program, including campus recruitment efforts, employee engagement events, and internship performance reviews. Build lasting and impactful relationships with the schools and universities Fortune-Johnson supports.
- Actively participate in industry networking events and organizations to promote the Fortune-Johnson brand.
- Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers and Human Resources Team.
- Execute talent strategies and processes utilizing various tools and resources (LinkedIn, Social Media Outlets, Internal ATS
- Coordinate external advertising and marketing strategies to support hiring initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients
- Other ad hoc reporting as necessary
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years full-cycle recruitment experience
- Construction recruitment experience preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience working in LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as iCimis, Lever, Greenhouse, ADP, etc.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent team player who is comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Ability to maintain focus while working in a high level, fast paced environment.
- Ability to effectively organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
