Senior Manager/ Manager – Talent Acquisition & Campus Hiring
About the Role: The incumbent will be part of the larger TA team at Sun Pharma. The individual will be an operations specialist who is responsible for managing the business-as-usual aspects of lateral recruitment, campus hiring, University relations and Management Trainee program. The individual helps better the lateral recruitment, campus program through delivery of best-in-class practices, operational excellence, memorable candidate and stakeholder experience and delivering on metrics that measure effectiveness of the recruitment & campus program.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business needs and translate them into an agreed recruitment plan, aimed at the fulfilment of the needs within time, budget and quality constraints.
- Conduct in-depth vacancy intake-discussions leading to agreement with hiring manager on proposed recruitment plan. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills and behavioural competencies needed for success in each role.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, educate them on market dynamics and constantly evolve recruitment process .
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active sourcing / research and on-going relationship management.
- Participate in special projects/initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
- Responsible for identifying and mapping the external talent pool towards critical positions within the organization for Sun Global Operations, Quality function & API Business.
- Drive the Campus Hiring process across sourcing, selection, offers, post-offer and till onboarding.
- Drive Management Trainee Program operations. Execute and report against project plan.
- Candidate and College relationships – Be the POC between placement committee/ office, the students, Sun Pharma. Manage timely communications, queries and experience.
- Execute campus engagement program and branding calendar across target colleges. Work with internal stakeholders to support the program. Track and report engagement levels and other metrics.
- Work on market intelligence at periodic intervals in order to gather trends and insights that will aid campus hiring strategy.
- Own a quarterly project end-to-end across branding/ campus engagement/ candidate experience/ interviewer experience/ process improvement.
- Responsible for all reporting and documentation of campus hiring related activities for internal audits.
Who You Are
- Overall experience of 8-10 years in recruitment.
- 3+ years of experience in campus recruitment, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
- Managing Tier 1 MBA/ Engineering campuses is an added advantage.
- Proficient in English; written and verbal.
- Intermediate level proficiency; spreadsheets and data analysis to draw insights.
- Education: Science/Engineering undergraduate with a post-graduation in MBA-HR.
