Our client, a contemporary womenswear brand, is looking for a Director of HR to join their team in New York!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR initiatives and implement HR plans
- Maintain strong relationships with internal employees
- Manage employee relations
- Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding
- Execute performance management processes
- Work with internal leaders to facilitate training
- Manage and administer employee benefits
- Maintain compliance knowledge for local, state and federal regulations
- Oversee key metrics pertraining to performance, turnover, DE&I, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in fashion or retail
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives and influence positive change
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
