Position Overview:
The HR Manager will provide guidance on best practices and guidance on the interpretation and practical application of HR policies, Talent Acquisition procedures and legislation. The HR Manager will establish processes in order to support the business and the employees. They will work closely with business leaders as they strive to make a productive and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Provides HR guidance to managers on employee relations issues
- Ensures fairness and accuracy in HR documentation and file management
- Support onboarding through Workday of all new employees including initiating correct system access and set up
- Acts a single point of contact for employee questions/concerns for both hourly and salary employees
- Compliance with all current employment laws. Guides and advises managers on USA employment law matters.
- Provides HR support in organizational change initiatives including talent acquisition, communications, terminations, promotions and new hires
- Ability to create and streamline processes throughout global client groups
- Partner closely with hiring managers and assist with the recruiting process: defining jobs, using external recruitment tools to identify candidates, scheduling interviews, hiring and providing guidance as needed
- Investigates and resolves a variety of employee relations issues (e.g., EEOC claims, harassment, discrimination, ethics, resolve, etc.)
- Works with managers to find solutions to employee performance issues and handles disciplinary actions to conclusion
- Ensures effective and good working relationships and exchange of best practices with global HR practices. Actively supports management-employee engagement activities
- Ensures consistency in all execution of HR policies and practices
- Other related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years HR experience in human resources supporting a hourly/ corporate employees - preferably a retail environment
- Experience in full life cycle recruitment
- Preferred experience supporting in a global organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and problem solve multiple requests simultaneously.
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
- Experience using Workday, ADP and LinkedIn recruiter preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with highly sensitive matters
- Other duties assigned by manager
- Frequent in-person collaboration
Salary: $82,000 - $94,000*
*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
