Our Client, a Luxury Watch Brand, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team on a temp basis to cover a maternity leave.
This role starts in mid January, 2025.
Responsibilities:
• Operate as initial point of contact for the employee population.
• Ensure compliance with all company policy as well as federal/state/local legal requirements.
• Support the employee lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding and development.
• Assist with recruitment process by interviewing, scheduling, conducting reference and background checks and preparing offer letters and supporting documentation for open positions.
• Leverage recruitment tools to ensure an active pipeline of top talent is maintained.
• Upkeep and maintain ATS system for postings and active applicant review, partnering with field team members.
• Lead onboarding with new hires & process their paperwork.
• Ensure maintenance and accuracy of employee files.
• Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and programs.
• Ensure that employee concerns are addressed timely and appropriately, by partnering with HR.
• Prepare, draft and review HR communications, presentations and reporting regularly, and as needed.
• Support all HR initiatives from rollout to finalization, primarily focusing on the retail population.
• Follow all internal HR processes to ensure, accuracy and maintenance of our systems and operations.
• Conduct on-site HR field visits to locations as applicable.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting and presentation decks.
• Collaborate closely with the Director and SVP of HR to support and complete special projects.
Requirements and Skills:
• 1-year + HR experience.
• Experience in a luxury retail setting, a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or other related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and time management skills.
• Resourceful problem solver with exceptional detail orientation and organization, able to balance multiple priorities.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Must be a people centric self-starter with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
