Role Overview
The CHRO will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, and board, driving the company's talent strategy in alignment with its strategic goals. This leader will oversee all human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and DEI initiatives. The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with experience in high-growth, private equity-backed environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive company growth.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Build scalable recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Culture and Engagement: Foster a high-performance culture that supports innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.
- Organizational Development: Design and implement programs to enhance leadership capability, employee development, and succession planning.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee total rewards strategies to ensure competitiveness within the market and alignment with business objectives.
- HR Operations: Manage HR policies, compliance, and systems to create efficient and effective processes.
- Change Management: Lead HR initiatives that support mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other business transformations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in HR leadership, with 5+ years at the executive level. Previous experience in private equity-backed, middle-market companies is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- Skills: Proven track record of scaling HR functions in high-growth environments. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in private equity portfolio companies or adjacent sectors is a plus.
- Certifications: SPHR/SHRM-SCP or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
