Position Overview:
The Country Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves strategic planning, business development, and operational management to achieve company goals and objectives. The successful candidate will ensure the company operates efficiently, complies with regulations, and maintains a strong market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the company.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve company goals.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient and effective management of resources.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the company’s budget.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Interface with regulators and ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard digital assets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.

- Drive license applications and regulatory approvals in the country.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the financial services or digital asset industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of digital assets and blockchain technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
