We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HR – Talent & Culture Director to oversee and drive HR operations in the U.S. market, ensuring the alignment of people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced and vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Management
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the exhibition and trade show industry.
Manage the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration.
Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and succession planning.
2. Employee Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for U.S.-based employees on HR matters.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with organizational values.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
3. HR Operations
Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and industry regulations.
Administer payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
Manage employee records, contracts, and documentation.
4. Performance Management
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee engagement and development.
Provide coaching and support to managers on effective leadership and team-building practices.
5. Learning & Development
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Organize workshops, seminars, and team-building activities relevant to the exhibition industry.
6. Strategic HR Leadership
Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives tailored to the U.S. market.
Provide data-driven insights and reporting on workforce trends and HR metrics.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in the exhibition, events, or hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations.
Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and conflict resolution.
Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
Experience working with remote and hybrid teams.
Familiarity with trends in the exhibition and events industry.
