About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal and external communications, HR communications, content and marketing, HR content development, social media strategy, and corporate communication. This role is crucial in enhancing our HR initiatives and ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Branding:
- Develop and execute comprehensive employer branding strategies to position the organization as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with recruitment, and leadership teams to create compelling narratives highlighting Sodexo’s culture, values, and work environment.
- Design and implement initiatives, campaigns, and events that enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation in the job market.
Employee Value Proposition (EVP):
- Define, articulate, and communicate the organization’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to ensure alignment with business goals and employee expectations.
- Develop messaging and collateral that effectively convey the EVP across internal and external platforms.
- Curate people stories that relay EVP messaging to the external audience thereby establishing Sodexo India as an employer of choice.
- Encourage and amplify employee stories that embody the organization’s mission and values.
Organizational surveys, initiatives, and awards:
- Oversee the implementation of organization-wide surveys, including the annual “Voice” survey.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to communicate and roll out the global awards – HASDA, APMEA People Awards.
- Customize global initiatives to resonate with the local workforce, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment with regional priorities.
- Monitor and report the impact of these campaigns, providing insights and feedback to global teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to create action plans that address identified areas of improvement.
Internal Communications and Announcements:
- Manage end-to-end communication for key employee lifecycle moments, such as joining announcements, promotions, and recognitions.
- Create engaging and professional content to welcome new employees, highlighting their roles and contributions to the organization’s vision.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent and timely communication of organizational updates and changes.
Handling of SoNews:
- Manage SoNews - Sodexo India's internal employee engagement platform where employees can access company-wide latest news and happenings.
- Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of content on SoNews, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source and share updates that reflect the company’s culture and achievements.
- Monitor employee feedback and engagement metrics related to SoNews to improve its content and usability continuously.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Partner with HR, operations, and leadership teams to align communication initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Serve as a key liaison between corporate communications and HR to ensure consistency in messaging and tone.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to foster a unified employee engagement and communication approach.
- Act as a steward of the organization’s culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in all communication efforts.
- Develop programs and campaigns that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in HR communications, corporate communications, or a related role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies.
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
