About the role
This role, reporting directly to the Group HR Director, leads key areas of Learning and Development, Performance Management, and Talent Development and Succession Planning. As a subject matter expert in Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD), you will collaborate with the leadership team and key business stakeholders to drive the delivery of competency frameworks, advance people and leadership development, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements for continuous learning and development. You will oversee the Talent Development and Management strategy, ensuring programs are impactful, aligned with organizational and employee needs, and foster a culture of engagement, motivation, and high performance.
What we'll like to see in you
You will be responsible for driving the company's Talent Development and Talent Management strategy, encompassing Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Succession Planning. Key responsibilities include creating development roadmaps, designing and delivering learning strategies, and automating talent and learning processes where needed. You will also be involved in collaborating with people managers and HR to identify technical and leadership training needs, addressing capability gaps through tailored interventions, and ensuring statutory compliance with learning and talent reporting requirements. Additionally, you will oversee performance development reviews, succession planning, and talent strategies while ensuring alignment with global and local standards.
The role also includes managing external training providers, delivering training programs when necessary, and enhancing the onboarding experience for new hires. It requires the development of L&D policies, effective utilization of government grants and funding, and monitoring of training budgets. Other responsibilities include managing sponsorship programs, maintaining relationships with government agencies, and driving HR simplification initiatives. As a coach and advisor, the role ensures the company's learning and development efforts remain impactful, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

What you'll bring along with you
You will possess a degree, preferably in Human Resources, with at least five years of experience in learning and development, ideally within the early childhood or education industry. You will be adaptable, capable of multitasking under pressure, and highly motivated with a passion for employee development, satisfaction, and well-being. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with digital awareness and IT proficiency, are essential for success in this role.
