Role Overview:
As a Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will take the lead in shaping and driving NKF’s talent acquisition strategy and execution. This is a pivotal role within the HR team, where you will be responsible for building scalable recruitment structures, establishing streamlined processes, and leading a small team. You will contribute directly to the foundation’s growth by sourcing top-tier talent aligned with NKF’s mission and strategic goals.
Your expertise in talent acquisition, team leadership, and process optimization will be instrumental in building an efficient, results-driven talent acquisition function that supports long-term growth and strengthens NKF’s employer brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, sustainable talent acquisition strategy to attract top-tier candidates across all functional areas of the Foundation.
- Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals, fostering a shared vision of talent acquisition across the Foundation.
- Drive the evolution of recruitment channels, identifying and expanding innovative sourcing platforms, and building robust talent pipelines for both immediate and future staffing needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that hiring practices are efficient, equitable, and aligned with NKF’s values.
- Lead the employer branding efforts by curating impactful content, promoting NKF as an Employer of Choice, and showcasing the Foundation’s diverse opportunities across external and internal platforms.
- Build and implement consistent, repeatable processes, tools, and training programs to empower hiring managers and HR colleagues in candidate screening, interviewing, and making informed hiring decisions.
- Lead the coordination of recruitment events such as campus fairs, online career expos, and talent outreach activities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and managing recruitment-related procurements (e.g., recruitment agencies, career fair partnerships, etc.).
- Establish and track recruitment-related key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing optimization and success of recruitment strategies.
Manpower Planning, Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Work closely with senior leaders to forecast manpower needs, provide insights into workforce planning, and develop proactive recruitment strategies to support the Foundation’s growth and development goals.
- Spearhead the annual Manpower Budgeting Exercise, collaborating with department heads and senior management to define staffing requirements and ensuring that the final recruitment budget aligns with strategic organizational plans.
- Leverage data analytics to optimize recruitment outcomes, measure recruitment efficiency, and provide actionable insights that shape talent acquisition strategies.
- Provide regular reporting on recruitment performance, trends, and areas for improvement to senior management.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that the team is equipped with the tools, resources, and training necessary to succeed in an evolving talent acquisition landscape.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and engagement within the Talent Acquisition function and across the broader Foundation.
- Oversee the development of performance goals, training programs, and career development plans for the Talent Acquisition team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, with a demonstrated ability to build recruitment strategies and lead teams at a senior level.
- Proven experience in process building, structure development, and team leadership, with a track record of driving operational excellence.
- Strong ability to navigate complex, ambiguous situations and implement solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and organizational environments.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.
- Healthcare sector experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
