Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job):
- The person would be responsible for indirect procurement for M&S India. These include but not limited to Capex (Stores Build), IT, Marketing, Logistics, HR, Travel, Retail Operations, Store Maintenances.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure the best quality products and services.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and work with them to prioritize opportunities and challenges.
- Communicates with Employees / Department heads / Vendors and assists in resolution of any open issues pro-actively.
- Agree on a feedback mechanism with operations team to monitor supplier's progress and quality based on a feedback received for services provided by supplier
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and company standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that arise.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring procurement activities align with financial goals.
- Streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement best practices and technology solutions to improve procurement operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.

- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
