We are looking for a dynamic and driven Recruiter to join Ugly Dumpling. The recruiter will help support and drive growth by attracting top talent. This individual will manage the full-cycle recruiting process, focusing on sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for our various restaurant locations and corporate roles. The Recruiter will be instrumental in building strong pipelines of talent and ensuring that we hire people who align with our company culture and vision.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for restaurant-level and corporate positions, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews.
- Sourcing: Proactively source and attract candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Employer Branding: Help build and promote the company’s employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
- Hiring Manager Support: Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, provide guidance on candidate selection, and create job descriptions.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates) to continually improve the hiring process.
- Onboarding: Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization. Conduct background checks, draft and extend offers.
- Perform other ad hoc duties, as assigned by the Senior Director of Human Resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong ability to source and engage passive candidates.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
- Understanding of employment law and recruitment best practices.
Compensation:
$18 Hourly + Commission + Hybrid Schedule

$55,000 Annual salary + Onsite Schedule
