HEAD – TALENT ACQUISITION

Job Summary:
The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the recruitment strategy and execution for aviation ground handling operations. This role focuses on attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent in areas such as ramp services, baggage handling, customer service, aircraft maintenance, and other airport support functions. The ideal candidate will drive workforce planning, employer branding, and recruitment innovation to ensure a strong pipeline of skilled professionals in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and operational demands in aviation ground handling.
- Forecast hiring needs based on seasonal demand, flight schedules, and contract requirements.
- Establish strong recruitment processes for high-volume hiring and specialized roles.
Recruitment & Hiring Process Optimization
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement innovative sourcing methods (job fairs, partnerships with aviation training schools, employee referrals, and digital recruitment).
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory hiring standards (background checks, security clearances, and certifications).
- Implement structured hiring methodologies to improve the quality of hires.
- Standardize interview and assessment processes for consistency and fairness.
Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
- Strengthen and enhance employer branding efforts to position the company as an employer of choice and attract skilled aviation professionals.
- Develop partnerships with aviation schools, technical institutes, and workforce agencies.
- Lead digital and social media recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Improve candidate experience to reduce offer dropouts and enhance onboarding success.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and develop the talent acquisition team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Work closely with operations, station managers, and HR business partners to meet hiring needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce strategy and succession planning.
Data-Driven Recruitment & Technology Adoption
- Leverage recruitment technology (ATS, AI-driven sourcing tools) to streamline hiring.
- Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention rates).
- Report hiring trends and insights to senior management.
Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure a seamless, engaging, and inclusive candidate experience.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to align recruitment with business needs.
- Manage external recruitment agencies, executive search firms, and vendor partnerships.
Diversity, Compliance and Safety
- Promote diversity and inclusion in hiring processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, aviation security requirements, and safety regulations.
- Support initiatives for employee well-being and retention.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience scaling recruitment operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in aviation ground handling, logistics, or high-volume operations recruitment.
- Candidate with knowledge of aviation compliance, security clearances, and background check requirements is preferred.
