Job Description
A leading distributor of C-parts in South-East Asia is searching for a strategic leader to drive the company's growth plans.
о Play an active role in the development and implementation of HR strategy and initiatives to support business needs
о Liaises with line managers to understand critical requirements, projects future skills demand and collaborates with hiring managers to prioritise requirements. The role influences the assimilation of new hires into the organisation effectively. The role also focuses on learning programmes to bridge staff capability gaps and build new skills.
о Assists the Managing Director in managing compensation and benefits policies of the Company to maximise staff retention and talent acquisition.
о He/she manages employee issues and supports line managers in exit and retirement processes.
о He/she promotes positive work culture in line with organisational values and reinforces employer branding.
о Assists the Managing Director in managing Environmental, Health, and Safety within the corporation.
о Assists the Managing Director in managing Company events that related to employee benefits.
о Be a bridge between the management team and the workforce, as well as between the company and its APAC stakeholder.
Expected outcome
о Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
о Overseeing all HR process and procedure, ensuring 100% legal compliance at all sites
о Responsible for HR-related budget and cost matters, working closely with business leaders to continuously improve workforce overall efficiency
о Identify, develop, plan and implement HR and programmes that impact business operations in the areas of C&B management, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, staff retention and employer branding.
о Develop and integrate company Code of Conduct and discipline policies and procedures, in line with organisational values.
о Establish and and execute employee communications and engagement initiatives. Derive meaningful insights and anlayses from such engagement as inputs for HR programs. Constantly review and refresh for effectiveness.
о Develop solutions and facilitate negotiations to resolve employee conflicts, grievances and disputes to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes.
о Recommend programmes and initiatives to strengthen relationships among employees.
о Analyse current organisational employer brand position to identify gaps, propose potential improvements and enhancements to the employer brand.
о Develop training plans, evaluate and assess effectiveness of training for the company’s total training and development plan.
о Identify changes required to HR systems for better alignment with industry best practices.
о Develop and implement employee health and well-being programmes in the workplace.
о Manage Environmental, Health, and Safety related activities
о To perform other HR or admin tasks and adhoc projects as may be assigned by MD
Required Qualifications & Competences
о Minimum: Degree in Business or Diploma in HRM
о Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources.
о Teamwork within team and across departments
о Effective time and stress management.
о Multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment
о Negotiation skills
о Ability to use MS office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
о Good command of Mandarin and English in both writing and oral, to translate translate important communication messages to Mandarin speaking colleague
