About the Team:
We’re hiring a People Partner to join TikTok’s HR team, supporting the Brand & Communications and Public Policy teams in the Americas. This role is based in either New York or Los Angeles.
As a People Partner, you will play a key role in supporting these client groups across the entire talent lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, leaders, HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and cross-functional teams to enhance the performance and output of these organizations in alignment with business goals. You will contribute to the delivery of the people and talent plans for these client groups, identify improvement opportunities, enhance employee engagement and retention through HR initiatives, and help drive efficient workforce planning and organizational design strategies. Specifically, you will:
- Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
- Provide guidance and assist in implementing business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modeling.
- Ability to manage People Partner processes such as transfers, organizational changes, data and reporting, system changes, etc.
- Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibration process.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and improve organizational efficiency both within the clients you look after and across the HR team as a whole.
- Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures; partner with Employee Relations and Legal departments to support investigations, as needed.
- Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs that foster employee engagement, D&I, and success.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, as an HR Generalist or Human Capital Consultant.
- 1 year as an HR Business Partner.
- Corporate experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and general HR program/operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of regional HR experience supporting Brand & Communications and Public Policy functions.
- Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.

Job Information
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $174400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
