At Omnicom, the position of Talent Lead, Global Clients is responsible for sourcing/recruiting of Global Client Lead talent and supporting the Global Client Leads (GCL) with tools and capabilities related to account growth and delivering exceptional client experience. The Talent Lead will be responsible for implementing talent recruitment and management programs to support the company's business objectives. They will report to the Chief Client Officer, and work with business leaders and HR to assess talent needs and gaps, and to oversee talent programs and initiatives.
This role requires regular in-office presence with a minimum of three days per week, to engage and collaborate in-person with the team and for meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Pipeline
- Support the development of world class leadership team for Omnicom’s top accounts
- Conduct direct outreach and maintain pipeline of GCL talent
- Manage third party executive recruitment partners
- Manage the GCL talent journey throughout the interview process, connecting GCL talent with Omnicom executives for interviews, providing regular status updates on open roles, liaising with HR when appropriate
- Support referrals into and within Omnicom network helping socialize CVs throughout the network for open positions
- Connect regularly with broader talent and HR community within Omnicom
- Own job description library for GCL role
- Conduct succession planning and keep plans up to date among current GCLs
Learning and Development
- Develop onboarding and ongoing programs for new GCL talent focused on introduction and navigation of Omnicom including capabilities, library of content, thought leadership, case studies, talent, and account-specific needs
- Partner with practice area counterparts in media, performance marketing, advertising, public relations, and production to standardize and scale best practice for client service leadership
Performance Evaluations
- Create and administer annual talent and performance review process, designed to deliver meaningful developmental conversations; ensure clear documentation and mechanisms for feedback on GCL performance and corresponding development plans and milestones.
- Initiate outreach to 360 reviewers and GCLs to document self evaluations and performance feedback
- Input agreed upon business performance KPIs into evaluation
- Oversee client satisfaction program with third party vendor; link to GCL performance evaluation; tie back to overall client health on top accounts
Business Planning
- Own the end-to-end annual business planning process with GCLs ensuring Omnicom templates are up to date, GCLs have the necessary training and time to develop annual plans
- Manage the plan presentation to Omnicom executive leadership, track and oversee follow ups
- Ensure GCL business plan goals and objectives are monitored/updated throughout the year and map back to performance evaluations
- Maintain library of business plans, ensure connectivity into Salesforce and updates to Omnicom executive leadership
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or leadership development
- Proven track record in recruiting high-level leadership talent and managing external search partners
- Skilled in creating and managing talent pipelines, tracking candidate progress, and maintaining ongoing communication with top talent.
- Experience designing and implementing effective onboarding and ongoing learning programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage initiatives
- Strategic thinker with an ability to anticipate and design for talent needs and gaps
Salary Range-$100,000-$150,000
