Job Summary:
The senior people strategic partner for our tech team will act as a pivotal liaison between HR and our technology department. This role involves aligning business objectives with employees and management, providing strategic and day-to-day operational human resources support, and driving HR initiatives across the tech division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with tech leaders to understand departmental goals and develop strategies to support these objectives through HR initiatives.
- Provide HR insights and data to influence decision-making and strategy planning including act as a trusted advisor to both employees and tech leadership to ensure that HR practices are align and support the organization’s overall goals.
- Maintain a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
- Manage conflict resolution and guide managers on employee relations issues.
- Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with the talent acquisition team to attract, hire, and retain top tech talent.
- Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Implement talent management strategies including succession planning, performance management and career development.
- Guide managers in the performance appraisal process and offer strategies for effective performance management.
- Schedule and coordinate an employee events monthly, quarterly or as needed to coincide with the
goals and mission of Human Resource and business direction.
- Design and implement development programs to improve employee performance and engagement.
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs for technical and soft-skills development.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Assist in the development of compensation and benefits strategies that are competitive and align with the company’s goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Drive organizational change initiatives and provide guidance on change management practices.
- Support managers through transitions and foster an adaptable workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR business partners, HR generalist, preferably within the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
