About the role:
The Head of People Experience will join in a newly-created role, managing and leading a team of 8 people. This team are responsible for ensuring every employee has an outstanding employee experience, from their first to last day, as well as acting as the first point of contact for HR queries. This role is embedded within the People Operations team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement within, and beyond, the immediate team.
- Ensure leaders and managers receive expert advice, guidance and consultation on people-related matters, and scope and implement scalable strategies to build manager and leader capability.
- Accountable for the delivery of the People Experience strategy within the region, through effective management of the team
- Define and oversee the PX operating model and service levels within the region, including location specific support strategies where relevant.
- Utilise data and analytics to track key metrics, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of people & culture programs, using key insights to form recommendations and drive changes.
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of key people initiatives, anticipating their needs and strategically influencing decision-making to champion organisational changes.
- Oversee the operational delivery of PX cyclical processes
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of efficient and effective people operations processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate processes to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure a smooth and positive employee experience; develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Consult on operational excellence across the PX ecosystem.
About you:
- You are an experienced people manager (within a People function), who has led teams, and who enjoys coaching, mentoring and developing others to achieve their potential
- You have Generalist People experience, as well as experience in overseeing People Operations
- You have recent experience in a large multinational company of c10k+ employees
- You have an operational mindset and are experienced in designing, implementing, and evaluating people processes to optimize for the needs of the organization.
- You proactively ensure your US Employment Law expertise is up-to-date.
- You are collaborative and work best as part of a team.
- You build impactful relationships with others and are adept at flexibly influencing others.
- You navigate change effectively, handling unexpected challenges and complexity with composure.
- You are experienced in finding, analysing, and interpreting data to generate insights and recommendations.
