Panasonic Information Systems Company Asia Pacific (PISCAP) is an IT solutions partner which provides IT Professional Services to 63 Panasonic Group companies in APAC Region, comprising of 7 Main Business Lines. THE ROLE:
The HR Manager, Business Partner role is an individual contributor position that provides comprehensive HR guidance on employee-related and organizational matters. This role involves overseeing HR projects, analytics, systems, and processes in Talent Management to meet business goals while ensuring compliance with employment laws and legislation. Additionally, the HR Manager collaborates with senior stakeholders to drive talent strategies, including talent identification, training programs, and succession planning. This person must be hands-on, actively engaging in the implementation and execution of HR initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Regional HR:
- Provide HR guidance and support to business stakeholders on matters concerning employees, organizational operations, and talent management across the APAC region.
- Execute and oversee HR transformation projects, systems, and processes to align with business requirements and objectives within the APAC region.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor policies, employment laws, and regulations specific to the APAC region.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent across the region, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with regional hiring managers to define job requirements, identify key competencies, and create job descriptions tailored to regional needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes within the region, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Utilize data-driven recruitment techniques to enhance candidate pipelines and improve hiring outcomes across the region.
- Strategically oversee regional onboarding processes to ensure and enhance the candidate and employee experience during their transition into the organisation.
Total Talent and Leadership Development Management:
Talent Identification and Assessment
- Conduct talent assessments to identify high-potential employees and emerging leaders.
- Conduct talent assessments to identify high-potential employees and emerging leaders across the APAC region.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify critical skills and competencies required for various roles within the region.
- Develop and maintain talent profiles and succession plans for key positions in the APAC region.
Training Program Development and Implementation:
- Design and implement training programs aligned with organisational/business goals and employee development needs specific to the APAC region.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, and materials preparation across the region.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback analysis and performance metrics within the APAC context.
- Create and build e-learning content to enhance training initiatives for the APAC region.
Employee Engagement and Performance Management
- Enhance employee engagement and satisfaction through initiatives like recognition programs and feedback mechanisms.
- Conduct exit interviews to identify turnover reasons and recommend retention strategies.
- Support the development, implementation, and review of performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Provide training and support to managers and employees on performance management best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in HR, including 5 years in a business partner role with demonstrated emphasis on utilising data analytics for strategic decision-making.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, covering compensation & benefits, employee relations and engagement, performance management, talent management, executive / tech training, internship, and scholarship management.
- Understanding of relevant labour policies, employment laws, and legislation.
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and HR/TM systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
- Strong proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
