Details of this Role
As a Digital Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our clients by developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions. Our Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for conducting market research, analyzing consumer behavior, campaign management briefs, and optimizing digital marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. This role requires creative thinking, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in PR, digital media and technology tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Planning:
- Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with clients' business objectives and target audience needs.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Define clear KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
- Brief-writing: creative, campaign, media, web and research projects
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Participate in regular client meetings to review performance, discuss strategies, and address concerns
- Proactively identify new opportunities to expand client relationships.
Collaboration:
- Assist cross-functional teams, including account managers, creative directors, and digital specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Campaign Planning:
- Participate in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including: Paid advertising (paid search, programmatic display, paid social media, et al)
- SEO & content marketing Email marketing
- Earned media (PR, organic social marketing, influencer)
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budget estimates for strategy department services for client campaigns.
- Track hours and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate insightful reports on campaign performance, including key metrics and ROI.
- Present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Great communication skills – a passion for building strong relationships, building credibility, with proven experience to manage agencies as well as internal stakeholders and teams
- Customer and market centric – you have experience of consumer and market research and analyzing data and applying insights to help optimize the customer experience and create value.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic, digital and holistic end-to-end approach.
- Detail oriented – you're skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities at once. You can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward.
- A self-starter attitude and growth mindset – you’re comfortable with constant change and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in making things happen – you are comfortable with failing fast and learning faster and delivering results quickly and efficiently.
- A creative problem solver and critical thinker – you can think things through analytically, analyze trends, data and information and translate them into customer-centric insights
- Sound understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with customers and stakeholders – performance marketing, martech, marketing automation, CRM, segmentation and engagement modeling, subscriptions, CRM, agile working practices, data and analytical tools.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles.
- Expertise in various digital marketing channels and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Experience We’d Like to See
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools. Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or other relevant platforms
- B2C & B2B2C marketing experience
- Minimum of 5+ years marketing experience including digital marketing and channel development, marketing strategy and performance tracking
- Experience working with different stakeholders at all levels and internal and external partner management International/global marketing experience
