Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industry Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process for various roles across all departments within EFL Global. This includes corporate to branch, salary and hourly positions, evergreen roles and executive level for USA, Canada, LATAM and UK. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to building a pipeline, sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our company's growth and success. Managing remote role internationally and domestic. Must be comfortable with high volume for evergreen roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the freight forwarding and supply chain logistics industry.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Tracking recruitment expenses, vendor job boards and internal recruitment campaigns.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens, virtual and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the company culture. Conduct BBI Interviews and assign assessments as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback to candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, notes of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition. Facilitate behavioral based interview trainings.
- Develop and create interview guides, Talent Acquisitions best practices, training and ensure labor and EEO compliance with job posts.
- Spearhead and manage college campus recruiting and a 10-week Supply Chain Internship program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Multiple years of full-cycle recruiting experience working on Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding roles & engaging top tier talent.
- Multiple years of experience managing stakeholder relationships, including working directly with Hiring Managers, driving strategic recruiting efforts based on business needs, profile calibration and updating pipeline progress via reporting
- Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes, and a positive candidate experience
- Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
- Experience managing various funnels of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process
- Highly autonomous but highly collaborative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed, Niche job boards, Third party contracts and job boards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
