Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Head of Digital, Marketing & Communications to shape and execute a unifying strategy that will:
- Elevate the Senior Team, Pro Volley Academy, Junior Volleyball Academy, and IBB LED brands.
- Seamlessly merge the benefits of all these organisations into compelling narratives for sponsors, stakeholders, and the wider public.
- Expand income-generating opportunities (sponsorships, grants, and other revenue streams).
- Enhance brand visibility and market engagement.
Your data-led, entrepreneurial approach will be critical to integrating diverse audience segments and delivering measurable results across each sub-organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a cohesive digital, marketing, and communications strategy that unifies all IBB Polonia entities under one brand vision.
- Identify and champion revenue growth opportunities across the Senior Team, Pro Volley Academy, Junior Academy, and IBB LED.
- Establish performance KPIs and regularly evaluate campaigns to ensure sustainable improvements in brand awareness, engagement, and income.
- Digital & Marketing Execution
- Oversee all digital channels (web, social, email, paid advertising) to deliver consistent messaging for the entire IBB Polonia group.
- Produce data-driven marketing campaigns that highlight the unique selling points of each sub-organisation, converting audiences into sponsors, partners, and loyal supporters.
- Leverage storytelling to emphasize the direct career path from Junior Academy to Pro Volley, culminating in potential Senior Team opportunities.
- Communications & Brand Management
- Serve as brand guardian for all IBB Polonia entities, ensuring cohesive visual and tonal identity across platforms and materials.
- Drive media outreach, press releases, and promotional content that promotes the shared vision, values, and success stories within the group.
- Manage stakeholder communications to ensure clarity in key messages around sponsorship, community engagement, and business growth.
- Partnership & Sponsor Relations
- Research, identify, and negotiate sponsorships, grants, and commercial partnerships that benefit the entire IBB Polonia ecosystem.
- Tailor proposals to showcase how partners can simultaneously support multiple areas (e.g., youth development, elite competition, technology solutions via IBB LED).
- Maintain strong sponsor relationships, ensuring all deliverables and ROI metrics are met and communicated effectively.
- Team & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor and guide any supporting staff or agency partners, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Collaborate with coaching staff, board members, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of marketing goals with sporting objectives.
- Maintain transparent reporting on budget usage, campaign outcomes, and recommendations for improvement across all group entities.
Person Specification
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record of leading digital marketing and communications strategies, ideally within sports or a multi-brand environment.
- Revenue Generation Focus: Skilled in identifying and closing sponsorships, grants, and funding opportunities, with a history of measurable income growth.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to craft data-driven strategies that unify multiple brands, address diverse audiences, and deliver ROI.
- Relationship Builder: Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills; capable of fostering long-term sponsor and stakeholder partnerships.
- Adaptable & Hands-On: Willing to handle various tasks in a lean organisation; thrives on tight deadlines and ambitious targets.
- Passion for Sport (Preferred): Familiarity with volleyball or high-performance sports, and an appreciation for youth development pathways, is highly advantageous.
