Role Overview
This is a dual role combining HR advisory duties with office management responsibilities. You will play a key part in maintaining a positive workplace culture by supporting employees and ensuring the smooth running of our office operations. The role requires a proactive approach to both HR tasks and office management to help the team operate efficiently.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts, conducting right-to-work checks, coordinating new hire orientation, and handling exit interviews.
- Maintain and update HR policies to ensure they are compliant and reflect the company’s culture.
- Assist with employee relations matters such as performance management, grievances, and disciplinary cases.
- Promote employee wellbeing by implementing initiatives and supporting a positive workplace culture.
- Administer employee benefits and review offerings to ensure they remain relevant and competitive.
- Manage and maintain the company’s HRIS system (HiBob), ensuring all employee data is accurate and up to date.
- Organise and manage company social events to enhance employee engagement and morale.
Office Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, including handling deliveries, managing supplies, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Manage building maintenance, including coordinating with cleaners and contractors.
- Organise weekly food orders and ensure kitchen supplies are stocked.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular checks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Plan and manage the company social calendar, including organising team events and celebrating key milestones such as birthdays and anniversaries.
- Manage internal communications to keep employees informed of office updates and activities.
- Continuously review and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR advisory role.
- Experience in office management or administrative support.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it (desirable).
Salary
£28,000-£32,000 Annually
