People & Culture Business Partner Manager
This role is responsible for shaping, driving and executing the overall P&C strategy for CHM cluster market, and ensuring it is in line with the business goals/objectives as well as aligned with global and local requirements, including ARCI model in regards to verticalized and global functions.
The role will participate actively as a thought leader in supporting the local leadership team in driving business efficiency and performance, as well as building a positive and inclusive workplace culture. With commercial awareness of relevant business operations, the role will anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and foster collaboration between P&C function and the business.
As a People & Culture Business Partner Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Business Partnering Incorporating Business Acumen
- Proactively provide P&C advice and solutions aligned with business objectives & build strong collaborative partnerships with department leaders and employees across CHM market cluster. Support verticalized and global functions within the ARCI-framework. Develop commercial awareness of the business operations to foster collaboration and to drive business efficiency and performance. Ensure compliance with national/ local laws & regulations and with JTI corporate policies/ guidelines at all times within your area of responsibility. Resolve employee relations issues and address concerns. Collaborate with Legal in disciplinary cases following JTI guidelines.
- Talent Acquisition including Employer Branding, On- & Offboarding
- Oversee talent sourcing, screening, and selection processes within the GBS- and ARCI-framework and develop cohesive recruiting strategies to meet local business needs by developing and implementing Employer Branding strategies aligned with global initiatives. Ensure robust On- and Offboarding processes for smooth transitions.
- Talent Management
- Drive performance and talent review processes incl. succession planning. Ensure employee and leadership growth/development through local offers and/or global initiatives.
- Company Culture (Our Way)
- Proactively drive Our Way initiatives according to global standard and act as a culture ambassador and change agent to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture throughout the whole employees' lifecycle by role-modelling Our Way behaviors.
- Global Initiatives & Projects
- Drive global initiatives (DEI, EES, INSPIRE, NWOW etc) and manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request. Ensure that the set of Policies and Procedures related to P&C Business Partner function reflects current business needs, propose and manage update or implement new policy when necessary.
- People Management
- Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly to the incumbent.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years experience in HR Generalist role in corporate, multinational environment (preferable FMCG industry), Better to have people management experience
- Fluent in English, Mandarin(Must), Cantonese
- University degree in Business Administration/ HR or equivalent
- High level of loyalty, confidentiality & integrity
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness of business operations
- Ability to work independently and discuss with, challenge and influence stakeholders
- Proactive team player
- Good communication and presentation skills
