Lead HR Manager - Education Group
Founded in 1988, the K N Guruswamy Educational & Charitable Trust has thoughtfully grown from a humble charitable Trust into a larger, mission-driven education and sports organisation. Based on a 10-acre campus in South Bengaluru, the Trust manages Ashram School, Deccan International School, Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre and Deccan PU College, all focused on education and sports excellence. As the organization expands, the Trust has thoughtfully adapted over time, introducing streamlined processes and coordinated efforts to meet evolving needs and support sustainable growth.
We are on the lookout for a Senior or Lead HR manager to unlock human capital and growth. This role is central to fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring our workforce is aligned with the Trust's vision and goals. Stationed in our Padmanabhanagar Campus in Bengaluru, you will be instrumental in enhancing our organizational dynamics and delivering on the mission.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training, ensuring processes are efficient, goal-oriented, and responsive to employee needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent development, and retention.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders by leveraging strong influencing and interpersonal skills to act as a trusted business advisor.
- Oversee workforce planning and ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent through effective recruitment, onboarding, and talent management strategies.
- Establish comprehensive performance management frameworks integrated with professional development programs to enhance employee potential and drive organizational outcomes.
- Cultivate a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture through initiatives that drive productivity, recognition, and employee well-being.
- Ensure organizational compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and evolving regulations by maintaining and updating policies in alignment with industry best practices.
Skills and Qualifications- 15+ years of generalist HR experience, with 8 years of team management experience in the Education sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong communicator with a talent for building collaborative relationships and ensuring alignment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, inspire performance, and foster growth in a positive, inclusive environment.
- Skilled in mediating conflicts and delivering practical, balanced solutions to challenges.
- Demonstrates flexibility in navigating change and the resilience to thrive in dynamic and evolving environments.
