Job Description
Our client, a child and teen counseling center, has an immediate need for a Senior Director of Human Resources-Social Services. This person is responsible for leading and managing the company's talent acquisition, onboarding, employee experience strategies, and more. This role ensures that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-performing talent.
- Oversee the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Collaborate with divisional hiring managers to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with agency and divisional goals.
Onboarding
- Design and manage an effective onboarding program to: ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture; ensure transparency and efficiency in information and process to ease the vacancy burden of hiring managers.
- Monitor and continuously improve the onboarding process to enhance new employee experience and retention.
Employee Experience
- Oversee initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Develop experience strategy and programs that promote a positive work environment and company culture.
- Utilize data from feedback surveys, stay and exit interview to drive improvements.
Metrics and Reporting
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of talent integration programs.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience metrics.
- Develop and implement recommended programs and process improvements based on metric evaluation.
Strategic Planning And Execution
- Experience in creating and executing strategic HR plans that align with business goals.
- Ability to drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Team Leadership And Development
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing HR teams.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members to achieve their full potential.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Experience working closely with senior leaders and agency divisional leaders to understand and meet their talent needs.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Proficiency in using HR metrics and data to drive decisions and improvements.
- Experience in preparing and presenting reports on recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience metrics.
Change Management
- Experience leading change management initiatives to improve HR processes and programs.
- Ability to navigate and manage organizational change effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree with bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in creating and executing strategic HR plans that align with business goals.
- At least 10 years in talent management, recruitment, or HR leadership roles.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition and onboarding programs.
- Certification in human resources such as SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resources preferred
- Management Certified Professional) or TAS (Talent Acquisition Strategist) preferred
