Job Description: HR Specialist (Off-Role)

About the Role

This role will allow you to work closely with various stakeholders across units, own processes, and streamline activities to create an excellent onboarding and HR experience.
Key Responsibilities
Induction & Onboarding
Coordinate and conduct employee induction and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
Prepare and manage onboarding materials while introducing new employees to company policies and procedures.
Enhance the candidate experience through process improvements and efficient stakeholder coordination.
Background Verification
Oversee the background verification process for all new hires, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Liaise with third-party agencies to maintain compliance with company standards and deliver smooth onboarding.
HRIS Management
Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS) in platforms like PeopleStrong and SAP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Generate reports and provide data insights to support HR analytics and decision-making.
HR Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify and implement process improvement plans for various HR activities.
Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits and maintain accurate records for smooth operations.
Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Projects, and Admin teams to ensure seamless onboarding and accurate data sharing.
Manage consultant agreements, including preparation, tracking, and payment processes.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency in compliance and operational activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in HR, with a focus on induction, onboarding, HR operations, and HRIS management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using PeopleStrong, SAP, and other HRIS platforms.
Data management and report generation for HR analytics.
Soft Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
