We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Culture and Employee Engagement to lead and oversee various aspects of culture and Employee Engagement across our properties and corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Culture Development Initiatives
• Develop and implement strategies to align organizational culture with company vision and values.
• Conduct cultural audits to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to embed cultural values into daily operations and decision-making.
• Establish and support employee resource groups and culture committees.
• Create and maintain culture-related training programs and materials.
2. Foster Employee Engagement
• Design and execute COPE (Culture of People Engagement) surveys/Pulse survey and analyze results.
• Partner with head of department to develop impactful action plans.
• Organize engagement events and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and collaboration.
• Develop recognition programs that celebrate and reinforce desired behaviors.
• Organize corporate level events e.g. Annual People Conference (APC), ONYX Pride of the Year, Staff Party, Townhall, etc.
3. Enhance Employer Branding
• Create and manage internal and external communication channels that promote ONYX cultural initiatives and engagement programs.
• Partner with the brand and communications team to ensure consistent messaging about the company culture.
• Develop storytelling content to highlight success stories and cultural role models.
4. Monitor and Measure Impact
• Develop and track culture and engagement KPIs to assess the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Regularly report on progress and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct follow-up surveys and focus groups to refine strategies.
• Benchmark against industry standards to ensure competitive practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing effective L&D programs.
- Strong understanding of SOP development and compliance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Previous experience in networking with property L&D leaders and organizing conferences.
- Familiarity with managing Management Trainee and Internship programs.
