Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and enhancing employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human resources practices, with experience in HRIS systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or ATS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage data entry tasks within HRIS systems.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Manage social media platforms for employer branding and recruitment purposes.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports and maintaining files.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and support for HR initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a human resources role is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in using HRIS systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft; familiarity with ATS is advantageous.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with social media management for professional purposes is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
