Head of People & Culture
Looking to shape the culture of a high-growth tech business?
This B2B tech scaleup has rare combo of stability, speed, and serious ambition. With a growing team, a clear mission in their space, and real momentum, they’re now looking for a Head of People & Culture to take the lead on all things people.
What you’ll be doing
Lead a team across People, Comms, Onboarding, and Culture. Your focus: building a brilliant employee experience while aligning people strategy to business goals.
This isn’t about tweaking policies. It’s about building and scaling a people function that genuinely works for the business and its people.
- Own the People & Culture strategy — from high-level planning to hands-on delivery.
- Present the annual People Plan and key results to senior leadership.
- Lead on engagement, internal comms, career frameworks, onboarding, and D&I.
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to advise on people-related decisions.
- Partner with Finance and Governance teams to ensure budgets, behaviours and policies are aligned.
- Oversee organisational design and change, including how teams are structured as the business grows.
- Design and evolve career development frameworks to support retention and growth.
- Manage the employee engagement agenda through in-person events and cultural initiatives.
What they’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally you’ll bring:
- Experience leading people teams in high-growth, tech or start-up environments
- A mix of strategic leadership and hands-on delivery — you’re as comfortable in the weeds as you are in the boardroom.
- A track record of building strong cultures, driving engagement, and embedding values in real, practical ways.
- Confidence working with exec-level stakeholders and the ability to influence at the top table.
- Experience designing career frameworks, engagement strategies, and comms that actually land with teams.
- Empathy, clarity, and a genuine passion for making the people experience better.
