We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing our HR systems (specifically Workday) and supporting employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of HR processes and experience in cyclical HR functions, such as performance management, mid-year reviews, and goal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workday Management:
o Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday platform.
o Manage and troubleshoot Workday processes related to employee records, job changes, benefits, and payroll.
o Generate and analyze Workday reports to inform HR decisions.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management:
o Oversee and support onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and employee transition processes.
o Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
o Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR processes and Workday-related queries.
3. Cyclical HR Processes:
o Drive annual and mid-year performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisal processes.
o Collaborate with management to ensure timely completion of performance reviews and development plans.
o Facilitate goal-setting workshops and support managers in aligning employee objectives with business priorities.
4. Employee Relations:
o Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, performance issues, and general HR practices.
o Support managers in handling employee relations matters, ensuring resolution and adherence to company policies.
5. HR Reporting & Analysis:
o Use Workday analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, engagement, turnover, and more.
o Create regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR strategy and decision-making.
6. Compliance & Policy Management:
o Ensure all HR activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
o Contribute to policy updates, ensuring alignment with current regulations and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 - 6 years of HR experience, with a focus on HRIS management (Workday experience is preferred).
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, performance management, and other HR cyclical processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
