THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for someone extraordinary to come and join us as our first dedicated people person! As our People & Culture Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our people processes - owning everything from onboarding to offboarding and all of the moments in between. You’ll help keep things running smoothly, ensuring everything is clear, consistent and seamless.
This includes…
People Experience & Engagement:
- Be the go-to person for all people-related matters, policies, and processes.
- Help shape our culture by supporting people initiatives and events that foster engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Lead the recruitment process from start to finish - managing agencies, screening candidates, and supporting the team in making great hires.
- Own the offer and contracts stage, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Help make our new joiners feel at home instantly, with a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
- Handle offboarding with care, including exit interviews and documentation for a thoughtful transition.
Systems & Processes:
- Keep our people systems ticking along smoothly, making sure data is accurate and processes flow effortlessly.
- Work closely with all of our teams to ensure our people systems are doing their job to support people, not slow them down.
- Always be on the lookout for ways to make things simpler and better - streamlining how we work and improving the experience for everyone.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Make sure we’re always doing the right thing when it comes to employment law, health and safety and company policies.
- Stay on top of reporting so we have the insights we need to meet organisational goals and grow the team in the right way.
Continuous Improvement:
- Keep an eye on what’s new and what works in the world of people and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Champion learning and development opportunities—helping our team grow, thrive, and feel supported in their careers.
- Find smart ways to boost efficiency, scale with ease, and create an amazing employee experience.
ABOUT YOU
- You’ve been in a people operations or admin role before, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
- You’re friendly, approachable and a great communicator - you know how to balance professionalism with a relaxed, human touch.
- You’re full of ideas and not afraid to challenge the way we do things - we’re still in the early stages of our people journey!
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable with people systems - we use Breathe.
- You have a strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and best practices.
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment and can juggle multiple projects with ease.
- You have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a focus on accuracy.
- You’re discreet, professional, and someone people trust.
- You bring a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.

- Salary: DOE
- Pension plan: 3% from the employer & 5% from the employee
