We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to lead the social strategy and social-first content creation for Rise & Fall, driving engagement and growth across key platforms. The candidate will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness, fostering engagement with Rise & Fall's community, and generating content ideas that are as forward-thinking as our business model. This role is for a creative thinker who can take ideas from concept to completion, and can think on their feet. We need someone who can execute content for 3 hours and 3 months' time.
About Rise & Fall
We are one of the fastest growing startups in the UK and are soon to launch internationally. We've shipped over 100,000 products, tripling revenue last year, and are set to double it again this year.
We offer luxury clothing and homewares, but without the luxury prices. We connect our customers with the best manufacturers in the world so they can buy the highest quality products straight from the factory floor at prices that are 40-80% less than usual.
We are the antithesis of fast fashion and serious about sustainability and conscious consumption. We are B Corp certified, have removed all hard chemicals from our supply chain and use mostly organic inputs (cottons, linens etc). Requirements
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media & Content Manager at Rise & Fall will be responsible for the daily management, ideation and creation of all social media activities across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest. Working alongside the Creative Director and Senior Brand Manager, you will lead the social strategy and social-first content creation for product launches, collaborations, and special projects, ensuring the brand's voice is consistently represented. This role requires hands-on content creation skills, a deep understanding of culture and trends, and a focus on community building and engagement.
Essential Duties
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Demonstrate a passion for storytelling and a deep enthusiasm for the product, while ensuring we are using a consistent brand voice in copywriting, and visual direction across platforms
- Take a hands-on approach to content creation with a keen eye for detail—planning, shooting, filming, editing, and bringing creative ideas to life
- Consistently bring fresh, innovative ideas to represent our brand vision and keep our hero products at the forefront
- Work closely with all teams to identify storytelling opportunities
- Manage social media content creation budgets effectively
- Collaborate closely with influencers and external content creators on briefing, planning, and delivering final assets through to project completion
Social Media Management & Engagement
- Align social media content and scheduling with the broader marketing calendar
- Oversee daily management of all social media channels, including content publishing across all platforms
- Stay current on social media trends, cultural events, and brand-relevant conversations to keep content timely and engaging
- Build and manage community engagement across all channels to foster strong relationships with our audience
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on key metrics and engagement, providing recommendations for optimisation
Knowledge & Skills
- +2 years of social media management experience in a fashion, homewares or lifestyle environment.
- Proven success in executing social media strategies and growing engagement across platforms
- Strong creative vision with an eye for trends and innovative social content. Up-to-date knowledge of emerging social media platforms and technologies
- Strong attention to detail, You will know how to make things look good.
- An openness to experimentation and willingness to fail. The ideal person will push the team out of our comfort zone. We need you to be bold
- Experience with managing social media budgets.
- Excellent time management, communication, and project management skills,with the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
- Team player with a positive attitude, even when working under tight deadlines
