Points North is looking for a dynamic and motivated People and Culture (HR) Generalist to join our growing People and Culture team! In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of functions, including recruitment and talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating a smooth offer to onboarding experience
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and develop effective recruitment strategies based
- Enhance employer branding through outreach initiatives and online presence
Organizational Development:
- Assist in the design and implementation of training and development programs
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting and bi-annual performance reviews cadences
- Participate in career architecture refresh developing clear career pathing for employees
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive organizational culture
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues
- Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct exit interviews, bi-annual employee engagement surveys, new hire feedback and stay interviews with employees; analyze feedback for continuous improvement
Benefits Administration:
- Support employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries
- Stay updated on benefits trends and regulations to ensure compliance
People and Culture Support:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Active member of the Culture Committee
- Support various projects and initiatives, as needed
We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience in the field
- 3+ years of experience in an employee facing People and Culture role (Recruitment, HRBP, HR Generalist)
- Minimum of 6+ months experience in a high growth SaaS or agency environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking, and HRIS systems
