The successful individual will be part of the Talent Acquisition team to support Graduate Recruitment which involve Internships and Graduate hiring activities, as well as enhancing Sembcorp Employer Branding via external marketing efforts and internal employee engagement activities.
You will be involved in a broad range of Graduate Recruitment and branding projects to ensure a healthy pipeline of potential talents that is brought into the business.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Graduate Recruitment
- Challenge the status quo and take responsibility for planning and execution of Internship & Graduate Hiring activities.
- Lead interviews and assess candidates together with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct research and try-outs on innovative solutions / platforms which can help boost outreach.
- Support the planning of graduate hiring roadmaps; Periods of internal engagement, school engagement and activities.
Employer Branding and Employee Engagement
- Building relationships with tertiary institutions (Universities, JCs, Polytechnics and ITEs), and government agencies (e.g. EDB, EMA, NEA) to identify partnership opportunities to drive funnel and pipeline for internship and graduate programme.
- Develop and execute marketing and engagement campaigns and calendar of activities with tertiary institutions and government agencies to present Sembcorp as an employer of choice amongst students. This include organising and facilitating campus events and facilitating opportunities to show-case Sembcorp in the campus.
Stakeholder Management
- Engagement of internal stakeholders to understand needs, rectify doubts and coach them on processes
- Engagement of external stakeholders to forge partnerships that aid in the success of graduate hiring
- Management of the Graduate Recruiting portfolio/timeline with HRBPs and relevant parties
- Point of contact for interns.
KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIOURS
- University Degree/ Diploma in HR or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Graduate Recruitment is a plus.
- Experience in a client facing role, minimally 5 years of working experience
- Comfortable working with fresh graduates across all disciplines for various work assignments
- Ability to engage stakeholders across all levels to build credibility and gather buy-ins
- Effective project management capabilities and ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables
- Tenacious and highly adaptable to the ever-changing environment of the business and recruitment
- Strong teamwork skillsets to partner with relevant COEs and business stakeholders
