We are partnered with a London-based client in their search for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join their team. This company, a leader in providing technology solutions and services, is looking for a skilled communicator to help strengthen their internal communication strategies. Working within the People and Communications team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring all employees across the UK and Europe are well-informed about the company’s ongoing business activities and future aspirations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the company's internal communication channels
- Lead continuous improvements and updates to the company’s intranet
- Organise and maintain a consistent editorial schedule
- Create and implement a communications plan that aligns executive messaging with company culture, strategic goals, and market positioning
- Engage with different company stakeholders and business leaders
- Develop and write a range of communication materials for internal and executive messaging
- Assist leadership with communication strategies and messaging
- Conduct activities, workshops, and surveys to promote employee engagement
- Organise annual and bi-annual meetings and events
- Be up-to-date on the latest tools, technology and digital platforms to provide the best effective internal communication
- Develop communication plans to address resistance, build awareness and drive employee engagement
- Manage corporate emergency response communications, delivering timely updates and instructions during crises
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Communications or substantial experience in a similar role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an eye for detail and a flair for storytelling
- Influence stakeholders at all levels and to collaborate effectively
- Experience in conducting surveys, analysing results, and using data-driven insights for decision-making
- Proven project management experience
- Familiarity with working in multicultural environments and engaging with senior leadership
- Comfortable using design software and proficient with IT
