Manulife regional office is seeking a self-motivated Talent Acquisition professional to join the team to drive recruitment for our Hong Kong businesses. The individual will be playing a key responsibility in helping Manulife maintain its strong business results and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying and hiring strong talent to the firm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with management in the proactive sourcing of talent for critical skill areas in order to build a talent pipeline
- Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent, both passive and active
- Partner with lines of business and functional areas to provide strategic recruiting services to ensure that the company’s recruiting programs maximize visibility and result in high quality hires
- Assess candidates using behavioural based interviewing in order to ensure top quality talent is selected
- Support the team in preparing and analysing data/reporting work
- Stay current on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations
- Liaison with local universities in support of sourcing candidates for various functions (external to campus team portfolio)
- Internally market our services to employees and managers, promoting our value add and expertise
- Manage and/or participate in onboarding projects and tasks
- Assist the team in other necessary operational work
Required Qualifications:
- University degree qualified
- Preferably 4 - 6 years of recruiting experience (candidates with a blend of in-house and agency experience are preferred)
- Strong direct sourcing skills with experience in using alternative sourcing methods
- Ability to consult with internal and external clients and provide business solutions while managing multiple and shifting priorities
- Organized and detail oriented with a pro-active approach
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skill
- Exceptional communication skills and able to articulate verbal skills in addition to effective written communication required
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Customer centric attitude coupled with a sense of urgency
