We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Data Analyst that is motivated to come on a journey with Admiral’s Talent Acquisition Team! We need your expertise in supporting the Talent Acquisition team to make data-led and informed strategic decisions for now and in the future. Do you understand the candidate journey and the key metrics we can interpret to continuously improve the experience? Can you analyse the labour market and our competitors and help us be the best at attracting quality talent? What about people data, such as attrition, to help us determine the quality of the talent we hire?
The Talent Acquisition Data Analyst role will be a catalyst for change in enhancing the service offering to our business stakeholders and our future talent.
Responsibilities will include:
- Extract data from both external and internal mediums and to present the insights in a meaningful way to guide both operational and strategic decision making.
- As our technology enhances, build Key Performance Indicator dashboards and marry the talent acquisition data up with other people data, such as attrition and performance evaluations, to paint a holistic picture for all stakeholders.
- Provide analysis and commentary on data trends and any issues identified, including communication with stakeholders to ensure accurate and relevant analysis is achieved.
- Ensure effective quality assurance has been undertaken on all work and that appropriate caveats are made clear, to guarantee the accuracy of reporting and correct interpretation.
- Maintain and improve the data quality and integrity of our Talent data and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Contribute to the development and innovation of the People Analytics Team and the wider data community by sharing your ideas, knowledge and best practices.
Experience required:
- Excellent understanding of Talent Acquisition processes including candidate, recruiter and hiring manager journeys and specifically understanding relevant data points across the key milestones.
- Solid experience working with recruitment tools (eg applicant tracking systems), screening tools and various technologies to pull both candidate and employee data.
- Ability to understand the labour market data and competitive analysis, using sources such as LinkedIn Talent Insights.
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis using tools and languages such as SAS, BigQuery, BI tooling, R or Python.
- Keen eye for data visualisation techniques and storytelling with data practices, maximising user interpretation and enabling data-informed decision making.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, with the confidence to challenge others based on your findings.
- Highly numerate, with a structured and methodical approach to problem solving and analysis.
- Ability to pay attention to detail to make accurate conclusions and predictions when working with data.
- An ability and agility to learn to operate within established teams and project management styles.
Support and reporting lines
The Talent Acquisition Data Analyst will report into the People Analytics Team, part of a wider data and insights community, enabling you to leverage best practice with your peers. You will have a matrix reporting line to Talent Acquisition as the key stakeholders you will be supporting.
Location
Admiral Group have a flexible working policy with remote, office and hybrid working options. Ideally, you will be able to commute to our office in Cardiff for collaborative, creative and connected work as and when required but you could equally be based anywhere in the UK.
