The HR Site manager plays a crucial role in supporting and managing location-specific HR matters, working collaboratively with the functional HR team. This role requires collaboration with both site-based and functional HR resources to ensure seamless delivery of HR services. The HR Site Manager serves as a key liaison between the site and the broader HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Planning / Initiatives
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR needs specific to the site;
- Work closely with the functional HR team to ensure alignment with overall HR strategies and initiatives;
- Provide site-specific insights and requirements to contribute to the development of HR programs and policies;
- Support the implementation of Group HR initiatives from a location-specific view;
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment;
- Collaborate with functional HR to ensure consistent application of company policies;
3. Performance Management
- Collaborate with functional HR team to manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers;
4. Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs in collaboration with functional HR team;
- Identify site-specific development opportunities and training needs;
5. Employee Engagement
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, working closely with both the site and functional HR teams;
- Organize events and activities to foster a positive workplace culture;
6. Compliance and Reporting
- Work with the functional HR and local HR Operations team to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations;
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance;
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any HR-related legal matters;
- Responsible for HR governance/compliance-related matters specific to location;
7. Vendor Management
- Manage HR services vendor and ensure all compliance and attestation are in place and aligned to the Group Procurement policies;
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on collaborative, matrix-based environments;
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to thrive and navigate in a matrix organization;
