About you
You enjoy working as part of a fast-paced, exciting business that is growing quickly. In this role you will play a pivotal role in the scaling of the business. We are growing fast, and you will need to bring your experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously to the table.
As a people and talent manager, you will be responsible for carrying out our HR and recruitment strategies that will support growth in our international offices. This is an Individual Contributor role, and you will need to be comfortable making decisions.
You will own projects and initiatives that ensure the smooth running of people operations as well as ensure that employee engagement and satisfaction are at the forefront of what we do. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process from aligning job descriptions with hiring managers to sourcing candidates to interviewing and contract negotiation. Once candidates have accepted positions you will be responsible for all aspects of onboarding and post hiring people operations.
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end People Operations and recruitment processes
- Ensure employee details are up to date and correct
- Be the main point of contact for all people related matters
- Track and analyse all people metrics (performance, attendance, training, etc)
- Manage the company’s appraisal system and conduct appraisal meetings
- Handle all disciplinary processes and formal grievances
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning to ensure alignment with organisational goals
- Implement new and improved ways of working, automate processes and improve the candidate and employee experience
- Actively contribute to the development of global policies and programs, leveraging local expertise and legal insights
- Work closely with our payroll provider to ensure timely payroll cycles
- Work closely with the General Managers in our satellite offices to assist where needed
- Responsible for ISO27001 data security certification
Experience
- Have significant experience in a similar role, ideally in the media, adtech, martech industries
- Experience recruiting globally and across departments
- Experience with multi-channel sourcing techniques
- Have proven administration and organisational skills
- Be adept at working with key stakeholders at all levels
- Want to learn and grow with us – great at listening and taking learnings into practice.
- Be laser focused on attention to detail
- Be numerate, with the ability to analyse problems constructively
- Think clearly under pressure – the information you provide helps formulate meaningful decisions and it’s important to be calm, focused and helpful
- Be a real team player
- Be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Demonstrable experience in UK employment laws, practices and procedures.
- Experience working with Turkish and/or Chinese employment practices a huge plus
